This post is so true and helpful. I go through diet talk a lot with my mom and friend groups. Sometimes it’s my mom saying how she needs to go workout after a meal because she wants to look like her beautiful skinny daughter. I’ve told her it triggers me and makes me feel worse that she’s comparing herself to me. My friends also do it when we’re all eating together and I usually try and steer the conversation in a new way.

I have an experience like that a few days ago when one of my acquaintances talked about "healthy life", "bad vs good food" -- and how she started following "the clean life' - I felt that I can't breathe and that my ED voices have found the ground to sneak again (orthorexia and anorexia) -

I told her to stop labelling food or life - - I don't know if it was right or wrong - I don't know if I should warn anyone that that type of talks/thoughts are so harmful. I don't even know if it is really harmful or it was only about me..

I mean - Is labelling food ok for anyone else except me.. OR Is it harmful for anyone and I should warn them.

Most of the people do diet talk without even noticing that they are doing it. It is so embedded in our culture that sometimes it is used as a topic for small talk even. However, most of the time, these people are not aware of how such talk is influencing them or others around them. When I first noticed this, I tried to educate everyone who did diet talk. After a while, I realized how tiring that was for me, so I stopped. Whenever I find myself in such situation, I use one of the tactics I've written and disengage from the conversation.

As for your question, I personally believe that it is harmful for anyone, however you come first. If a situation is bothering you, sometimes it is better to leave/disengage instead of warning them, otherwise you might get triggered. Always put yourself first! :)
