You've covered a very important - and confusing point - for me -

In terms of "losing weight" - sometimes I ask myself why many doctors ask their patients to lose weight just to be "healthy", what is the root of this concept? just why should someone lose weight to solve their "medical" problem - regardless of their mental health?

I want you also to talk more about dealing with people around us after we gained some weight (part of recovery) - how can we reframe their comments and deal with them properly without hurting our minds?
